It was fabulous to attend the 36th Banksia National Sustainability Awards last night on behalf of my sustainability publications – Eco Voice & Eco News. As a Judge and Foundation Partner of the Banksia Awards for many years, it is always wonderful to experience the sheer delight on the faces of the winners and finalists of the various categories, knowing the hard work that has gone in. The Judging process is certainly very rigorous and category winners are incredibly well deserving. The evening showcased exemplars of sustainability and their sustainability success stories. Congratulations!
It was a pleasure to hear the panel discussion chaired by CEO of Banksia Foundation, Graz van Egmond with distinguished VIP guests, which included the EU Ambassador to Australia, His Excellency Mr. Gabriele Visentin and Professor Krysztof Golas, Deputy Minister for Climate and Environment / Chief National Geologist, Poland.
