The Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand, EIANZ, is the professional association for environmental practitioners.
It works across Australia and New Zealand to provide support to practitioners from all sectors of the environmental industry on both sides of the Tasman.
Each year, the EIANZ’s signature event is its annual conference, and this year it’s being held in Sydney, at the conveniently located Hilton Hotel, between 1-2 November 2018.
The 2018 EIANZ Conference will bring together practitioners under the theme ‘imagine! Environment, people, future’. It will:
- Build the knowledge, skills, proficiencies, networks and businesses of our delegates
- Foster the development and adoption of outstanding practice in environmental management
- Recognise and celebrate the achievements of our environmental practitioner colleagues at the Conference Gala Dinner and Awards evening.
The full conference program is exceptional, with plenary speakers who are leaders in their fields and outstanding speakers in the concurrent streams.

With the future a key part of the conference focus, we’re supporting the next generation with a Students and Early Careers Congress (SECC) on Wednesday 31 October.
The congress is designed for students and early career practitioners and will provide insights to the future of the environment profession.
Delegates will hear about the working lives of young environmental professionals, and develop key professional skills through the congress’ interactive workshops.
The SECC is your chance to gain an edge in an increasingly competitive workplace, providing you with skills and contacts that will extend your capabilities beyond university studies.
