Epson has announced its support for Onigiri Action 2025 as an official partner for the third consecutive year. This initiative, organised by the non-profit TABLE FOR TWO International (TFT), aims to address global food insecurity. It will run until 15 November 2025.

Onigiri Action is a social initiative in which participants post photos of onigiri — a traditional Japanese food — on social media platforms such as Instagram, X and Facebook or on a dedicated campaign website.

For each photo posted, sponsoring companies donate the equivalent of five school meals, which are delivered to children in Africa and Asia through TFT. Organised by TFT, a non-profit organization working to address global hunger and health issues, the campaign is held annually in celebration of World Food Day on October 16.

Epson is committed to achieving sustainability and enriching communities through social initiatives in the areas of the environment, society, and economics. Epson has named nine actions it should take in these areas.

Two of them — eliminate disparities and assist children in need — align directly with the mission of Onigiri Action, which is why Epson has decided to continue sponsoring the program.

Epson is inviting submissions for the Full Heart and Stomach Prize, an Onigiri Action sponsoring partner award in the TFT’s Onigiri Photo Grand Prix category.

The grand prize winner of this partner award, selected from among those who post photos of the most delicious-looking, smile-inducing onigiri, will be presented with an Epson printer.

Continuing from last year, Epson will once again offer free printable items featuring onigiri-themed designs to encourage broader participation in Onigiri Action. Six unique designs will be available, allowing participants to enjoy the campaign while using the prints as part of their onigiri-related photos.

This year, in addition to the continued collaboration with Nissan Serena, new designs will also be introduced through partnerships with organizations such as Oisix ra daichi Inc.
