Intrepid Travel’s has been recognised with the Best Grants Program Award at the 2025 Workplace Giving Australia Awards, celebrating its innovative and highly engaged Impact Grant program.
The annual awards acknowledge organisations that are leading the way in employee giving and social impact. Intrepid was recognised alongside major Australian brands including Australia Post and Commonwealth Bank for its employee-led approach to giving back through The Intrepid Foundation on Thursday, 16 October.
The Impact Grant program empowers Intrepid staff to directly support longstanding Foundation partners and help unlock additional funding for community-based projects around the world.
In 2024, more than 700 employees voted to determine which partners would receive grants, with $266,000 AUD distributed across eight long-term Foundation partners. The grant assessment panel included employees from a range of departments across the business – not just the Impact team – reinforcing Intrepid’s belief that everyone can play a role in creating positive change.
