Schneider Electric, a global energy technology leader, has appointed Roland Juenemann as Leader for Channels, Alliances and Distribution for its Secure Power business in Australia, effective 1 April 2026.

Roland Juenemann steps into the role following Astrid Groves departure and will lead Schneider Electric’s channel strategy across IT partners, electrical wholesalers, system integrators and national accounts. His remit includes partner performance, capability development and go-to-market execution across key segments including enterprise, data centres and emerging AI infrastructure.

Roland brings more than 20 years of experience across IT, infrastructure and technology distribution. Since joining Schneider Electric in 2019, he has led the Secure Power distribution strategy, working closely with partners to strengthen engagement and expand market reach across Australia.

Prior to Schneider Electric, Roland held senior channel and distribution leadership roles at Samsung Australia, Ingram Micro and Synnex, where he managed national partner programs and complex product portfolios. His background spans both IT and electrical ecosystems, providing a strong understanding of how partners operate commercially across converging markets.

Farokh Ghadially, Vice President IT and Data centres, Pacific at Schneider Electric said Roland’s appointment comes at a time of increasing demand for integrated energy and digital infrastructure.

“Roland understands the evolving role of the channel as IT and electrical ecosystems continue to converge,” he said. “His experience across distribution and partner enablement positions him well to support our partners as they respond to growing demand in areas such as data centres and AI-driven infrastructure.”

Roland said the opportunity ahead for partners is being shaped by rapid changes in technology and energy demand.

“Our partners are navigating increasing complexity, from the growth of AI workloads through to the need for more resilient and efficient infrastructure,” he said. “There is a clear opportunity to strengthen capability across the channel and support partners to deliver integrated solutions that meet these challenges.”

Schneider Electric continues to invest in its partner ecosystem as part of its broader focus on enabling more efficient, resilient and sustainable infrastructure through energy technology.
